Success on the Second Day of 3 Days Clover Trail: The Queen Stage Makes a Difference

3 Days Clover Trail continues its course in Vallehermoso, on the island of La Gomera, and today was the day to highlight the feats of the runners in the second stage of the race.

Emotions ran high in both distances, the 29 kilometers and the 13 kilometers, where over a hundred participants enjoyed the unique routes offered by the island, specifically around Vallehermoso.

In the 13-kilometer category, Edwin Camacho Pérez of C.D. Hilera took first place, completing the race in an impressive time of 01:08:21. In the women’s category, Estela Guerra Almeida of the Arista Pro Team continued her podium success—having won the night stage yesterday—securing victory with a time of 01:31:11. Both demonstrated their dominance in this short but intense stage.

On the other hand, in the 29-kilometer distance, Álvaro Escuela Perdomo from the Arista Pro Team was crowned champion in the men’s category with a time of 02:36:08, while in the women’s category, Nuria Muñoz Malagón from C.D. Hilera took the victory with a time of 03:24:30. Both runners demonstrated remarkable endurance in this demanding stage, which featured two ascents totaling over 2,000 meters of elevation gain.

Tomorrow, Sunday, is the third stage.

The competition continues tomorrow with the third and final stage of 3 Days Clover Trail, where runners will face the fast and intense ascent to Tamargada.
