This past Sunday, June 25, saw a new edition of Challenge Roth, one of the most important triathlon events on the international calendar, with over 4,000 participants from 170 different countries.
Based in the German town of Roth, just a few kilometers from Nuremberg, this year’s edition was won by Danish athlete Magnus Ditlev and Swiss athlete Daniela Ryf, both of whom broke the distance records (3.8 kilometers swimming, 180 kilometers cycling, and 42.2 kilometers running).
In the days leading up to the event, a large expo energized the participants, who had the opportunity to see triathlon-specific equipment in person and gather important information about upcoming events on the calendar.
This was the case for 3 Días Trébol Trail: we were present at the expo, showcasing the upcoming first edition in the new format. Our event, held in the vicinity of Vallehermoso, in the northwest of La Gomera island, aims to attract an international audience, hence our presence at such significant events, where athletes from Northern Europe attend in large numbers.
Throughout the three days, expo visitors had the chance to learn first-hand about the 3 Días: including detailed information on stages, routes, and the amenities Vallehermoso offers for the growing sport of trail running.
Challenge Roth is the first international fair we have attended, following our own stand at the previous edition of Transgrancanaria, where we launched this year’s edition.
In the coming months, we will update you on other national and international events where we will present the next edition of 3 Días Trail Ibiza. And if you want to experience the surroundings of Vallehermoso by running in one of our three days, remember that registrations are already available.
